Local Organizations

The Charleston Museum seeks to preserve and interpret the cultural and natural history of Charleston and the Lowcountry. The museum has an extensive collection of artifacts and material culture that provide testimony to the state’s rich cultural and natural heritage. The museum’s website contains information about their education programs, exhibits, archaeological field schools, and lectures that take place throughout the year.
